Composition and methodology

  • Validators publish the oracle price approximately every 3 seconds. It is the weighted median of spot mid prices on Binance, OKX, Bybit, Kraken, Kucoin, Gate IO, MEXC and Hyperliquid, with weights 3, 2, 2, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1.   • The mark price is the median of three values: the oracle price plus a 150-second exponential moving average of the difference between the mid price and the oracle price; the median of best bid, best ask and last trade; and the weighted median of perpetual mid prices on five external exchanges.   • The funding rate is computed as an 8-hour rate and paid every hour at one eighth of that rate. The interest rate component is 0.01% per 8 hours.
